Popular Cosmetic Dental Services
Are you considering a smile makeover? Our Gainesville, GA dentists offer a variety of popular cosmetic dental treatments to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted (and at an affordable price.)
One of the best ways we curate aesthetic dentistry treatments is by combining different types of cosmetic procedures for the best overall effect. There’s no go-to solution for everyone. Rather, we frequently use two or three different types of cosmetic dentistry strategies to fit your specific situation.
Types of Cosmetic Dentistry Treatments
Porcelain Veneers — For the most dramatic smile makeover, our Gainesville cosmetic dentists usually turn to porcelain veneers. These cosmetic restorations are bonded to the front of each tooth in your “smile zone,” covering the healthy teeth behind them. Each is handcrafted from high quality materials for a natural appearance that looks perfectly straight and white. The entire process takes two visits to complete, due to the time it takes to craft each veneer.
Same Day Composite Veneers — When there’s a significant aesthetic issue with one or two teeth, you may not need an entire set of porcelain veneers. Instead, we can handcraft a same day veneer here in our office. Using matched composite/resin, we shape it over your tooth to restore the appropriate contours and size.
Dental Bonding — Sometimes the biggest cosmetic problem is a specific issue on one or two teeth. If you have a chipped tooth or gap in the front of your smile, composite bonding is a fast and effective way to cover the flaw and give you an entirely new look. Bonding uses the same white material that our Gainesville cosmetic dentists use for fillings. No numbing is needed!
Teeth Whitening (Dental Bleaching) — Professional teeth whitening provides faster and better results than anything you can buy online or over the counter. Bleaching your smile provides a blank canvas to match any new dental work against. It’s also the perfect stand-alone smile makeover.
Short Term Orthodontics/Braces — Teeth straightening treatments don’t necessarily mean spending 12+ months in braces. Instead, you can talk about fast treatments that focus on the teeth visible when you smile: the ones at the front of your mouth. Results are visible in as quickly as 3-6 months.
Tooth Recontouring — Smoothing out rough or uneven enamel can give your smile a more uniform appearance. Recontouring is best for minor areas that don’t need to be covered, or which are too small to bond to.
Cosmetic Injectables— Botox and dermal fillers help treat issues like TMJ, but also perfect the “frame” around your smile, such as fine lines, wrinkles, or even a gummy smile.
Gum Recontouring — Uneven gingiva (gum tissues) or a gummy smile can detract from your healthy, bright teeth. By adjusting the margins of your gumlines, we can reveal fuller and evenly exposed teeth without other dental work.
